Exosomes, or exosome therapy, is a new professional skin treatment. Exosomes are injected directly into the skin using microneedling.
Exosomes are tiny cell-derived vesicles that play a crucial role in cell-to-cell communication and contain a wealth of growth factors and proteins that promote tissue repair, regeneration and overall skin health.
Using exosomes helps the skin become brighter, more hydrated and helps to reduce the signs of ageing.
When used with microneedling, exosomes can promote the production of new collagen and elastin. These proteins give the skin its elasticity and firmness.

Number of treatments - Ideally 3, one month apart. Then a maintenance of 1 every 6-12 months
Complete recovery - 24-48 hours
Procedure duration - 15 mins but allow an hour for anaesthetic cream/prep
Anaesthetic - Topical lignocaine/prilocaine
Resume normal activity - Straight away although skin will be red for 24 hours
Sensitivity period - 24 hours, good SPF to be used throughout treatment programme
Duration of results - Up to 1 year

It is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that uses microneedling ( in which tiny micro channels are created in the skin) followed by an exosome serum which is applied to penetrate the channels in the treated skin. This treatment helps with

Once the redness settles the skin will tighten and possibly peel slightly, this is a medical device which stimulates your own body to produce collagen in the healing process by stimulation of fibroblasts and elastin, this process takes up to 6 weeks and will continue to improve your skin quality after the third or fourth treatment.

If you have a course of 3 one month apart the results should last approximately a year

No, there is no difference to the shape of your face, but you will appear red for 1-2 days post treatment

In approximately 6 weeks, you will start to see the results. A course of 3 is recommended, one month apart.

About Micro-Needling

Professional skin needling produces thousands of columns in the skin, which in turn stimulates the skin to naturally regenerate and repair itself. As part of this stimulation new collagen is formed, new skin cells generated and the deeper layers of the dermis are stimulated. This natural process takes time, so it can take up to 6 weeks to see an improvement and several treatments are usually required.
